In everything we do, we work hard to protect the purity nature brings; from taking care of the environment that our waters are sourced from, to accelerating our pathway to net zero carbon and managing our business sustainably into the future. **A day in the life of a Mechanical Workshop Engineer** As a Mechanical Workshop Engineer, you will be instrumental in executing our factory asset maintenance program to eliminate unplanned stops, optimize maintenance costs, and enhance asset intensity. Your role includes managing technical failures, executing maintenance activities, and fostering continuous improvement within the maintenance team. Key Responsibilities: + **Asset Maintenance** : Execute the factory asset maintenance program to prevent unplanned failures and conduct necessary repairs. + **Technical Support** : Provide expertise to minimize production losses and coach the maintenance team in problem-solving and solution implementation. + **Compliance Management** : Ensure timely completion of European Food Contact Materials Association (EFCA) and internal audits, addressing all identified actions in the Non-Conformance Management System (NCMS). + **Budget Oversight** : Contribute to the annual maintenance budget and track maintenance work order costs. + **Capability Development:** Participate in the Competence Building Plan (CBP) and assist in technical training for operational staff. + **Production Support:** Support the implementation of Asset Management methodologies and collaborate to eliminate quality defects and safety risks. **What Will Make You Successful?** + **Mechanical Engineering Qualifications** : NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering, demonstrating a solid foundation of theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field. + **Asset Maintenance Expertise:** Proficient in asset maintenance practices, contributing to the reliability and efficiency of machinery and equipment. + **Familiarity with Asset Management Module (AMM):** Good knowledge of the SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) module, enabling effective management of maintenance activities and resources. + **Commitment to Safety and Quality** : Strong alignment with Nestlé's Engineering organization and roadmap, embodying an attitude of absolute intolerance for unsafe situations concerning product quality, personnel safety, and environmental protection. + **Understanding of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)** : Preferred knowledge of TPM methodology, promoting continuous improvement and operational efficiency within the maintenance processes. + **Experience in Multidisciplinary Teams** : Proven experience working collaboratively within multifunctional teams, enhancing communication and problem-solving capabilities across various engineering disciplines. **What you need to know** What can we offer in return?
