This is an exciting opportunity to join the WSP Buildings Mechanical & Electrical team in our Saskatoon office as an Intermediate Mechanical Engineering Technician/Technologist. Come find out for yourself what it's like to be a part of our journey. **We offer attractive pay, flexible work options, a great corporate culture, comprehensive and employee-focused benefits including virtual healthcare and a wellness platform as well as great savings programs, and a clear vision for the future.** **\#WeAre** **WSP** **What you can expect to do here:** + Collaborate with senior staff to design and coordinate mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire protection). + Create and update technical drawings using Revit or AutoCAD. + Perform calculations for heating, cooling, ventilation, and water systems. + Prepare construction design packages and project specifications. + Support engineering studies and compile clear, actionable reports. + Build strong relationships with engineers, technologists, and construction teams. + Coordinate with other disciplines to meet project deadlines. + Review shop drawings and respond to contractor inquiries during construction. + Assist with contract administration, including change orders and payment certificates. + Conduct site surveys and routine construction reviews to ensure quality. **What you’ll bring to WSP:** + Mechanical Engineering Degree or a Mechanical Technology diploma + P.Tech with Technology Professionals Saskatchewan or ability to obtain + 3+ years related experience + Ability to adapt to fluctuating workloads and expedited timelines + Proven working knowledge with Revit or AutoCAD software is an asset + Familiarity with applicable codes and standards including, but not limited to, the National Building Code, ASHRAE, NFPA, CSA is considered an asset **WSP** is one of the world's leading professional services firms.
