**Job Description** BAE Systems is looking for an experienced Mechanical Technician VI to join their fast-paced Engineering and Test team in Nashua, New Hampshire. You will be supporting a wide variety of tasks in the day-to-day operation within a Engineering Lab. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: + Interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, and specifications to fabricate, assemble, and test mechanical equipment and systems + Read and understand written and verbal instructions from engineers, supervisors, and other stakeholders + Use various tools and equipment, such as lathes, milling machines, and drill presses, to fabricate and assemble mechanical components + Conduct tests and inspections to ensure that equipment and systems meet specifications and are functioning properly + Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment and systems as needed + Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve technical issues + Maintain accurate records of work performed, including test results and maintenance activities + Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** + The ability to obtain a DoD Security clearance is required + 15 years experience with HS Diploma + 5 year with AA in Machine Tool Technology + Proficient using CREO/Pro- Engineer software + Proficient with multi axis CNC milling machines and lathes + Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** + Familiarity with machine shop environment + Experience in the design and development of specialized tooling and fixtures **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $87260 - $139617 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
