Opportunity Snapshot:
Compensation: $50/hour Location: Jal/Carlsbad, NMAssignment Duration: 12 months+Work Schedule: 14/14 Rotation (see mancamp details below)Comprehensive insurance with 401(k), PTO and holidaysTruck, Tools and computer providedMancap mandatory due to on-call nature of rotation Responsibilities Technicians are assigned to carry out maintenance workAssists mechanical engineers in the planning and testing of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery, such as engines, instruments, controls, robots, machines, etcHelps prepare proposals and cost estimatesActively participate in the use of all on the job safety toolsReview job packsIdentify any safety issues associated with job end ensure removal/mitigation prior to workingExecute work as plannedRecord technical history as required by workgroup. (Global Reliability Tool (GRT), data sheet, etc.)Provide feedback on job pack improvements to Execution FLSRequest permits and notify Supervisor if permit cannot be issued within 30 minutes of requested timeOn call rotation every other week Qualifications 15-20+ years of closely related field experienceDiscipline appropriate certification(s) if applicable or equivalent professional experienceStrong communication skills; ability to clearly and concisely describe conditions in the field and recommend remediation stepsTeam Player; exhibits effective teamwork when working with othersAbility to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in prioritiesProficient in Microsoft Office suite software programsHas strong Caterpillar 3606 & 3608 Adem 3 experience and troubleshooting skillsHas strong Ariel compressor experience with JGC/4 compressors.Can and will work independently to perform daily duties without direct supervisionHas some gas facility experience to be able to help if needed to work on and repair dump valves and other process related mechanical devicesValdi drivers license and clean driving record requiredHigh School diploma or GED required
