Are you someone who enjoys working with your hands and bringing mechanical ideas to life? As a Mechanical Field Technician I, you’ll play a key role in supporting a wide variety of exciting projects—from custom electromechanical equipment and robotics to structural installations and equipment mounting. You’ll work side-by-side with engineers and project managers, gaining valuable experience as you help move projects from concept to completion. Most of your time will be spent in the shop and out in the field at customer sites, making every day different and rewarding. With a basic understanding of mechanical principles and a strong willingness to learn, you’ll thrive in this hands-on role that values problem-solving, adaptability, and teamwork. What You'll Do Assist with assembly, troubleshooting, prototyping, and light fabrication in shop and field settingsCollaborate with Project Managers and other Engineering personnel to organize tools and materials and plan for assembly and installationLearn to interpret mechanical drawings and documentation for custom machines, systems, and productsAssist with maintaining tool organizationProvide troubleshooting to follow a problem to the source and solve the issueLearn to develop and execute quality control and project check listsLearn to view designs and navigate 3D/2D CAD software
