Thagora by Lear is a leather cutting technology for the furniture and automotive industry. It combines advanced software,
algorithms, and equipment to bring automation, increased leather savings and productivity. Over 18 years of activity and
continuous investments in R&D enabled us to build a significant collection of proprietary software algorithms and hardware
equipment.

 

We are seeking a Mechanical Technician who is inspired and qualified to play a functional role in ensuring the smooth operation
and maintenance of specialized machinery used in the leather industry.

 

The Role
Key responsibilities include the following:
• Use mechanical measuring instruments such as tape measure, caliper, micrometer, dial indicator, and dynamometer
• Assemble and repair mechanical assemblies and subassemblies, ensuring proper functionality and alignment
• Identify spare parts based on technical documentation
• Replace spare parts correctly on machines and equipment to avoid damage to products manufactured on these systems
• Detect and resolve mechanical faults
• Packaging, loading, and unloading packages as part of production support
• Perform other mechanical or basic electrical activities as required
• Safety and compliance: adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies

 

Qualifications
• Prior experience (2+ years) in similar technical environment (systems in industrial machinery or related sectors);
• Experience with mechanical or basic electrical activities;
• Good mechanical manufacturing/assembly skills;
• Attention to details skills;
• Ability to prioritize effectively;
• Technical precision;
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
