Job Description

As a Mechanical Technician, you will play a crucial role in troubleshooting and maintaining machinery on the production floor within a medical device manufacturing environment.

ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and maintain machinery on the production floor.Ensure compliance with SOP and GMP guidelines.Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and efficient workspace.Essential SkillsMinimum 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Technician.Diploma in electro-mechanical, mechanical, or maintenance technician.Experience in a regulated industry such as pharmaceuticals or medical devices.Strong mechanical aptitude, maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting skills.Proficiency with injection molding and medical equipment.Excellent communication skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsFamiliarity with quality management systems.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced, clean, and well-lit, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and protocol adherence. You will train on the day shift until you are comfortable working independently on afternoon shifts, which may take a month or more. Business casual attire is required, and specific dress codes apply in the cleanroom, including wearing hair nets, masks, and lab coats. No denim, makeup, nail polish, or jewelry is allowed in the cleanroom. The day shift runs from Tuesday to Friday with varying hours starting between 5:30 AM and 7:00 AM.

This is a Contract position based out of Mississauga, Ontario.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
