**Responsibilities** + Install and commission conveyor equipment and systems, including mechanical and electrical components. + Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards. + Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the installation and maintenance of conveyor systems. + Communicate project status, risks, and issues to the project manager and internal teams. + Collaborate with other departments such as engineering, sales, and customer service to ensure project success. + Maintain accurate project documentation and reports. + Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. **Essential Skills** + Mechanical assembly + Mechanical aptitude + Machine assembly + Installation + Use of power tools + Hydraulics + Inspection + Conveyor installation + Traveling 100% + Mechanical repairs and preventive maintenance + Pneumatics + Blueprint reading + Wiring + Preventive maintenance **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred + Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics + Strong problem-solving and analytical skills + Ability to work independently and in a team environment + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills + Willingness to travel to client sites frequently + Physical ability to work in a field installation environment, including the ability to lift and carry heavy equipment + Experience with basic hand and power tools + Fluent in reading and writing English; understanding of Spanish is a plus + Proficiency with Microsoft Office products + Technical ability to use a mobile device such as a smartphone, tablet, or laptop computer **Work Environment** While performing the duties of this job, you will be regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and will follow all EH&S requirements at various facilities, including Amazon. Safety is key! The role requires the physical ability to use multiple hand and power tools associated with conveyor installation, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and pick up items of at least 50 lbs. You will also need to climb ladders, operate a forklift and scissor lift, and practice proper safety per OSHA standards. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.
