Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

In this role the candidate will support selective soldering operations in the Circuit Card Area within the EW-IMC Factory. The individual will be responsible for operation of thru hole component soldering equipment to support production operations. The candidate will also assist with machine preventative maintenance, cleaning, and hand soldering for touchup processes.
Performs a variety of duties assisting process engineers in the development of mechanical and electro-mechanical engineering designs, tests, fabrications, modifications, assemblies and components. Drafts detailed drawings for fabrication. Devises, fabricates, and assembles new or modified mechanical components or assemblies. Sets up and tests complete prototype units and subassemblies under operational conditions. Assists with analyzing data and recommending modifications to components or test procedure to meet desired specifications.
**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
- Must be able to read, write, and interpret English.
- Must be able to use computers
- Must be able to work for many hours in a seated position while using a microscope.
**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**
High school diploma or GED and prior experience in manufacturing field.
- Prior soldering certification
- Experience using selective solder, wave solder, or flow solder machines.
- Understanding of IPC-610 and/or J-Std-001 workmanship standards.
- Understanding of through hole soldering specifications.
**Pay Information**
Full-Time Salary Range: $46680 - $74687

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
