Job Description
Actalent is currently seeking a Mechanical Designer in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Qualified candidates will have experience with AutoCAD (or) Revit, and have 2+ years of experience with mechanical drafting/design. Please contact Jake at (610) 814-7180 or apply to this posting for immediate consideration.
ResponsibilitiesCreate and produce conceptual and construction drawings.Complete supporting documents for new construction and retrofit projects.Ensure compliance with the latest mechanical and plumbing codes for local approvals.Take field measurements to design and draw mechanical ‘as built’ layouts.Manage data with a high degree of accuracy.Essential SkillsAssociate's degree or higher in Mechanical or Plumbing Drafting preferred.Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit design software.Firm grasp of engineering, math, and industry information.Skilled in PC usage and associated software including Microsoft Office.Ability to multitask and handle multiple assignments simultaneously.Self-directed with minimum supervision required.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Attention to detail.Additional Skills & QualificationsOutstanding interpersonal skills.2+ years experience in mechanical drafting or design.Knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
