Terms & Conditions:
1) Compensation:
Worker will be paid a daily rate which includes and covers all expenses, with the exception of those specifically defined in these terms and conditions.
Compensations for travel expense are specified under point 4.
Project completion bonus is 7.5% of the daily rate per day worked to be paid on the completion date of the project, as per client’s discretion.
Future extensions to the existing terms, are considered part of the same contract, and therefore the bonus will continue.
o If Air Products ends the contract early and the worker is not at fault, the project completion bonus will be paid to the worker
o If the worker ends the contract by his decision, the project completion bonus will not be paid.

2) Working Hours:
Normal working hours are 9 hours per day and may be more on request, in which the provider shall be present at project site, available for work. Working hours are as per client request.
Overtime work (as additional days) will be paid in full, if client has given his prior request or approval for the overtime work, and if within the limits of applicable labour laws.
Working outside project location ( “working from home”) is only allowed only after prior agreement with the Site Manager.
Absence due to illness or family circumstances or time required to obtain visa/residence permits/professional (re-)qualifications cannot be claimed.

3) Work schedule:
Work schedule is 5 working days per week from Monday to Friday.
Client can request for weekend work within the limits of applicable labour laws.
Worker can request for any (unpaid) leave, at least 1 week in advance.

4) Travel cost and travel time:
Travel for daily commuting between project site and accommodation, home or vacation cannot be claimed and must be done outside working hours.
Travel expense for company-requested business trips will be fully reimbursed.

5) Additional terms and conditions
New hires must sign off on agreed job description prior to commencing employment.
Offer on condition 2 x suitable references are provided.
Notice period is 4 weeks.

Client Key Performance Indicators
The worker must be committed to the BSP (Basic Safety Process) culture and deliverables as required by the project and daily supervisor reporting where required. Including safety audits, tool box talks, reporting and positive engagement in the field as part of supervisory duties.
The worker must comply to the Client Learnex training requirements for the duration of the assignment. Training requirements will form part of a minimum mandatory onboarding duration of one week in relevant client head office. Learnex online training will be completed as part of onboarding then on a regular update and renewal basis as required for the specific role profile. It is up to the individual to maintain keep their own training records up to date.
As part of field supervisory duties, it is expected that the individual will work in close collaboration with the project quality department and ensure intimate understanding of relevant discipline quality and Inspection and Test Plans (ITP’s). Implementation of ITP’s and monitoring contractor quality performance is a key responsibility of construction field supervision.
Furthermore, each individual construction supervisor will be expected to issue a daily report related to their discipline and including observations and metrics on safety, quality, contractor resources, equipment, contractor performance including any impact to schedule or cost. Report template to be provided my project.
Consistent failure to perform on any of above KPI’s and any general contract requirements may result in disciplinary action.
