You will build a career that you are proud of, at a company you can believe in. We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mechanical Solutions Specialist to join our team in the Midwest District. As a Mechanical Solutions Specialist, you will play a key role in driving sales and profit growth by providing excellent customer service and offering expertise in commercial water heaters. Your responsibilities will include inventory management, sales coordination, delivery oversight, electric water heater conversions, field services, vendor relations, training, and sales presentations. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our success in the commercial water heating industry. **Responsibilities:** + Business Development for Construction Services: alternative piping products (especially, PPR-CT), early-stage design collaboration, VDC Virtual Design & Construction, Fabrication services, Digital Capabilities, and Project Management. + Bundle sell piping products and services with Hydronics & Commercial Air & Water + Inventory Management: Effectively manage commercial water heaters and hydronic equipment inventory. + Sales Coordination: Prepare quotes, write orders, and coordinate commercial equipment for customers. BidTracer process. + Delivery Oversight: Manage dispatch operations and ensure crews, equipment, and trucks are in optimal working condition. + Electric Water Heater Conversion: Manage conversion processes, kits, training, and sales related to electric water heaters. + Liaison with Hot Water Products: Collaborate with Hot Water Products to enhance services and capabilities. + Field Services: Conduct mechanical room walkthroughs, provide equipment sizing and design expertise, and liaise with piping specialists for fabrication and PPR piping solutions. + 3D Scanning and VDC Engagement: Perform 3D scanning, engage with the VDC (Virtual Design and Construction) team, and conduct field audits. + Vendor Relations: Collaborate with commercial equipment manufacturers and representatives to achieve sales, inventory, and training objectives. + Training and Sales: Deliver capabilities training and sales presentations to Area Sales Managers, Outside Sales teams, and customers. + Sales Goals: Meet and exceed sales goals by setting 1-2-3-year sales targets for Hydronics & Commercial Water Heaters (CWHs) and Commercial Hydronic Equipment based on market analysis. **Requirements:** + Previous experience in the commercial pipe valves & fitting, mechanical industry or related field. + Strong knowledge of pipe, valves, fittings, the construction process, as well as understanding of commercial water heaters, hydronic equipment, and related technologies. + Excellent organizational and inventory management skills. + Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal teams. + Proficiency in conducting field audits, 3D scanning, and engaging with VDC teams is preferred. + Ability to deliver engaging sales presentations and provide training to different audiences. + Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
