Airswift is searching for a Mechanical Lead to join our client’s team in the industrial/manufacturing sector. This professional will be responsible for planning, supervising, and executing mechanical maintenance activities to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-efficient plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of rotating and static equipment. Lead and develop Mechanical Technicians, Welders, and Fabricators. Conduct inspections to detect wear, corrosion, and potential failures. Perform root cause analyses and implement long-term corrective actions. Ensure compliance with HSSE standards, engineering procedures, and permit-to-work systems. Manage CMMS work orders and mechanical inventory. Collaborate on plant modifications and reliability projects.

Requirements:

B.Sc. in Engineering (accredited institution). 5+ years of engineering experience, including 18+ months in a supervisory role. Strong knowledge of maintenance principles, rotating/static equipment, and mechanical integrity. Proficiency with CMMS and maintenance planning tools. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
