This is an exempt level position. 
  
Job Summary: 
The Mechanical Integrity Practitioner is responsible for leading, implementing, and sustaining the mechanical integrity of site assets to allow safe and reliable operation of the assets.  This person will define new asset requirements and strategies for the site as well as advance and sustain existing MI activities. The position will work closely with the EHS CoE as well as RCM CoE.
  
Essential Job Functions: Lead MI deployment to implement mechanical integrity at the Frankfort, IN facilityDirect and lead third party contractors involved with MI activitiesSupport the plant in sustaining and improving MI efforts and activitiesDirect, manage, and support site mechanical integrity programsPartner with plant maintenance teams and RCM regional managers to develop action plan to correct known deficiencies in assetsWork with SMEs to establish inspection and repair plans, identify relevant damage mechanisms, select appropriate inspection tasks/NDE methods, and develop inspection/maintenance plans for all equipment typesInterpret Inspection Reports and ensure mandatory integrity items are planned and corrected.  Reviews inspection, testing, and repair documentation and follows up on corrective actions as neededIncorporate remaining life calculations and next Inspection dates based on equipment condition into the site’s inspection scheduling planSupport / lead Risk Based Inspection implementationWork with SMEs to provide guidance, direction, and leadership for reliability issues involving Fixed Equipment (piping, pressure vessels, exchangers, heaters, tanks, etc.).Supports or Leads MI Compliance Auditing efforts at plant sitesEnsure / select 3rd party inspectors and repairers have necessary qualifications and certificationsMinimum Job Requirements: Thorough working knowledge of applicable codes, standards and RAGAGEPs (ASME Section VIII, API 510, 570, 653)Good decision-making ability and problem solving skills Excellent organization skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks Excellent communication skills both oral and written Computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Products and Computerized Maintenance Management Software Demonstrated supervisory, leadership experience and ability to work in a team environment Must be customer focused and be proactive in dealing with conflict, influencing others, listening, management of priorities, organization & planning, partnering, and utilizing a proactive approach to reliability Preferred Education/Training: Experience in MI deployment, sustaining in a plant environment is required. Some of this experience may have been acquired in positions such as chief inspector, maintenance planner, maintenance scheduler, reliability technician or similar positionTraining and familiarity in API, ASME, NBIC and other industry standards and RAGAGEPsTraining or experience in Asset Criticality scoringExperience: Minimum of 4+ years’ experience in MI, Reliability, and PSMExperience in MI program planning, implementation, deployment, sustainmentDemonstrated experience in planning, implementing, and executing a Mechanical Integrity programExperience with material science, corrosion, and fitness for serviceExtensive knowledge of PSM requirementsExcited about this role but don’t think you meet every requirement listed?
