**Job Description**
**Position Summary**
The Mechanical Integrity & Predictive Maintenance Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and sustaining a comprehensive mechanical integrity (MI) and predictive maintenance (PdM) program to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operation of all fixed and rotating assets within the manufacturing facility. This role provides technical leadership, drives proactive maintenance strategies, and ensures adherence to regulatory and industry standards such as OSHA PSM, API, ASME, and corporate reliability requirements.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Mechanical Integrity Program Leadership**
+ Lead the development, execution, and continuous improvement of the site s Mechanical Integrity program in alignment with OSHA PSM requirements and industry best practices.
+ Ensure all pressure vessels, piping systems, relief devices, tanks, and other critical equipment are inspected, tested, and maintained according to applicable codes (API 510, 570, 653, etc.).
+ Maintain accurate MI documentation, inspection records, and audit-ready compliance systems.
+ Coordinate internal and external audits, respond to findings, and drive corrective actions.
**Predictive & Preventive Maintenance Strategy**
+ Oversee the site s predictive maintenance technologies, including vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis, ultrasonic testing, and motor circuit evaluation.
+ Develop data-driven maintenance strategies that reduce unplanned downtime and extend asset life.
+ Integrate PdM findings into the CMMS and ensure timely follow-up on identified issues.
+ Partner with operations and maintenance teams to optimize preventive maintenance intervals and task quality.
**Reliability Engineering & Asset Health**
+ Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for significant equipment failures and ensure implementation of sustainable corrective actions.
+ Champion reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) methodologies to improve asset performance.
+ Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as MTBF, MTTR, PM/PdM compliance, and equipment health metrics.
**Cross-Functional Collaboration**
+ Work closely with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and EHS to align priorities and ensure safe, reliable production.
+ Provide technical guidance to maintenance planners, technicians, and inspectors.
+ Support capital projects by reviewing equipment specifications, inspection plans, and reliability considerations.
**Leadership & Team Development**
+ Manage and develop a team of inspectors, PdM specialists, and reliability technicians.
+ Build technical capability through training, coaching, and certification programs.
+ Foster a culture of proactive maintenance, continuous improvement, and regulatory compliance.
**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
**Required**
+ Proactive, detail-oriented, collaborative, data-driven, and safety-focused.
+ Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Reliability Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
+ 7 years of experience in maintenance, reliability, or mechanical integrity roles within the chemical, petrochemical, or refining industries.
+ Strong working knowledge of OSHA PSM, API/ASME standards and codes, and MI regulatory requirements.
+ Demonstrated experience with predictive maintenance technologies and reliability tools (RCA, RCM, FMEA).
+ Proficiency with CMMS systems and asset management software.

+ Vibration Analyst Certification
+ Master s degree in engineering or business disciplines
**Pay Information**
Full-Time Salary Range: $120874 - $205486
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
