Job Title: Mechanical Installation Technicians
Job Description

We are seeking skilled Mechanical Installation Technicians to assemble and install multiple conveyor lines at a facility. The role requires teamwork, proficiency in using hand and power tools, precision in work, and potentially working at heights on a lift.

ResponsibilitiesAssemble and install conveyor lines at the facility.Collaborate effectively with team members.Utilize hand and power tools with expertise.Work with precision to ensure accurate installations.Operate lifts and work at heights as necessary.Essential Skills3+ years of experience in conveyor installation, construction labor, carpentry, mechanical assembly, or similar fields.Strong experience with hand and power tools.Mechanical inclination and familiarity with forklift and scissor lift operations.Additional Skills & QualificationsConstruction experience is preferred.Comfortable working on construction sites.Ability to work safely and follow safety protocols.Forklift and aerial work platform (AWP) experience is a strong asset.Certification in scissor lift operation is required.One in every three workers needs to have a forklift license.Why Work Here?

This is a great long-term project with opportunities for overtime, potentially up to 60 hours during peak periods. There is the possibility of permanent placement or transition to new projects for those who perform well.

Work Environment

The work will take place in an Amazon facility with typical hours from 7 AM to 4 PM. However, shifts can extend to 5x 12-hour shifts, totaling up to 60 hours. Technicians may work on platforms and are required to operate scissor lifts and forklifts as needed. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn, and safety protocols followed. Workers are expected to bring their own tools as specified in the provided list.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
