Job Title: Mechanical Installation Technician
Job Description

As a Mechanical Installation Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and installing multiple conveyor lines at a prominent facility. This role requires teamwork, adept use of hand and power tools, and the ability to work with precision, potentially from elevated platforms.

ResponsibilitiesAssemble and install conveyor lines efficiently and accurately.Work collaboratively within a team environment.Utilize hand and power tools proficiently.Operate lifts safely and effectively when necessary.Ensure precision in installation tasks.Essential SkillsA minimum of 2 years of experience in conveyor installation, construction labor, carpentry, mechanical assembly, or a similar field.Strong experience with hand and power tools.Mechanical aptitude and ability to work at heights.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in construction is preferred.Forklift and Aerial Work Platform (AWP) experience, such as boom or scissor lifts, is a significant asset.Scissor lift certification is mandatory before starting.At least one in every three workers must have a forklift license.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work will be conducted at a well-known facility, typically from 7 AM to 4 PM, with possible shifts extending to 60 hours per week, including five 12-hour days. The role may require working on platforms, operating scissor lifts, and forklifts. Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn, and safety protocols strictly followed. Workers are required to bring their own specified tools.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
