Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Mechanical Inspector to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a Mechanical Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of mechanical systems in various construction projects throughout the city.

Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire protection, and water supply, to ensure compliance with contract documents, specifications, and building codes.Coordinate daily with other teams to document and verify the quality and quantity of work performed by contractors.Process incoming inspection requests and technical submittals, taking necessary actions as required.Read and interpret package contract documents, detailed drawings, and specifications, including any associated updates.Monitor and document contractor manpower and equipment resources on a daily basis.Perform site supervision and inspections as instructed by the Resident Engineer or Assistant Resident Engineer.Prepare detailed reports on observed activities, including personnel, equipment, location, and methods utilized.Implement and monitor quality control procedures and site safety measures.Conduct site measurements and surveying checks as needed.Report on any violations of health and safety regulations in construction works.

QualificationsDiploma in Engineering required; related degree in Engineering fields preferred for career progressionMinimum of 15 years of experience in Construction Supervision with a Consultancy, focusing on mechanical systemsExtensive knowledge of mechanical methodologies, including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire protection, and water supply systemsProficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and building codesStrong understanding of construction techniques and installation processesExperience with various building types, particularly high-rise, mixed-use residential and commercial, retail, and hospitality projectsExcellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to write clear and concise reports in EnglishProficiency in using inspection tools and equipmentIn-depth knowledge of quality assurance and quality control procedures in constructionFamiliarity with health and safety regulations in the construction industryStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsDetail-oriented approach with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughnessAbility to work effectively in a team environment and under pressureWillingness to work on-site in various locations throughout Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
