**Job Description**
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Mechanical Inspector to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a Mechanical Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of mechanical systems in various construction projects throughout the city.
+ Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire protection, and water supply, to ensure compliance with contract documents, specifications, and building codes.
+ Coordinate daily with other teams to document and verify the quality and quantity of work performed by contractors.
+ Process incoming inspection requests and technical submittals, taking necessary actions as required.
+ Read and interpret package contract documents, detailed drawings, and specifications, including any associated updates.
+ Monitor and document contractor manpower and equipment resources on a daily basis.
+ Perform site supervision and inspections as instructed by the Resident Engineer or Assistant Resident Engineer.
+ Prepare detailed reports on observed activities, including personnel, equipment, location, and methods utilized.
+ Implement and monitor quality control procedures and site safety measures.
+ Conduct site measurements and surveying checks as needed.
+ Report on any violations of health and safety regulations in construction works.
**Qualifications**
+ Diploma in Engineering required; related degree in Engineering fields preferred for career progression
+ Minimum of 15 years of experience in Construction Supervision with a Consultancy, focusing on mechanical systems
+ Extensive knowledge of mechanical methodologies, including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire protection, and water supply systems
+ Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and building codes
+ Strong understanding of construction techniques and installation processes
+ Experience with various building types, particularly high-rise, mixed-use residential and commercial, retail, and hospitality projects
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to write clear and concise reports in English
+ Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment
+ In-depth knowledge of quality assurance and quality control procedures in construction
+ Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the construction industry
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness
+ Ability to work effectively in a team environment and under pressure
+ Willingness to work on-site in various locations throughout Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
