Job Description
We are looking for a Mechanical Hardware Engineera to our team in Katowice.
This position is responsible for assisting in the analyzing & designing mechanical components and electro-mechanical systems which are incorporated into new product lines for the Motion Control Business under the direction of team lead, project lead and more senior engineers. You will focus on new product design, maintaining a schedule of assigned tasks as well as associated costs. You will also participate in generating design specifications for products and directing activities to support execution of those designs
Your Responsibilities:Participant in prototype validation testing and product qualification testing to schedule and problem resolution for assigned programs.Create products using required development processes and work toward process improvement.Complete design and implementation documentation as specified by the Common Development Processes, as specified by the functional requirements.Maintain documented notes that thoroughly explains conceptual thoughts, conditions, restrictions, analysis, synthesis, and test results that serve as justification for design and test results.Complete design and implementation documentation as specified by their project lead, Functional Manager and Project Management.Understand and practice laboratory procedures for the safe and efficient use of electronic instrumentation, electrical power, rotating electrical machinery, and general laboratory cleanliness.Analyze tasks and be a technical contributor in the cost-effective implementation of tasks, assuming responsibility and accountability for completing the tasks.Other responsibilities as assigned by manager.Hands-on mechanical atitude: familiar with hand tools and power toolsThe Essentials - You Will Have:Bachelor's degree in Engineering Mechanical Engineering,Mechatronics Automation and Robotics or related field3 year of related experienceKnowledge of mechanical systems and mechanical component design including sheet metal, machining, heatsink, injection molded plastic and die casting.Familiar with ASME drafting standard Y14.5 for dimensioning and tolerancing GD&T in engineering drawings and related documents is preferred.Basic understanding of electrical power devices such as IGBTs, power supplies, bus structures and power capacitors.Familiarity with thermal system analysis.Experience with solid modeling software such as CREO (Pro/E) or SolidWorksExperience with Project Management.The Preferred - You Might Also Have:Experience with ANSYS FEA and CFD analysis tools, DFSS, tolerance stack analysis, and Six Sigma toolsExperience with appropriate Agency requirements such as UL508 and EN61800-3, 61800-5 product specific standardsKnowledge in the field of permanent magnet motor mechanical design and manufacturing: coil winding, permanent magnet array assembly, lamination design, electronics packagingKnowledge about SAP/Windchill.Safely use power tools and press.Experience in 3D printing.What We Offer:Our benefits package includes …
