Corporate Research – Research and Technology Center Asia Pacific is a team of international & interdisciplinary scientists, driving cutting edge research to leverage on Asia’s excellent expertise. Scientifically verified knowledge and insights are the foundation of our sustainable solutions. Through our innovation, we develop a vision for the future product of Bosch, evaluate its feasibility, and convert it into practical solutions. Main responsibility includes:               

Conduct research, pre-development and patent filing of innovative powertrain integration (Motor, Inverter, Gearbox) for electrified vehiclesConduct mechanical design, simulation and test validation of eAxle conceptConduct innovation on gearbox concept & performance evaluationManage suppliers for sample construction and mechanical integrationWork closely with corporate research hub in Renningen, Germany on project activities and competence developmentWork closely with business units to supply cutting edge and competitive technology solutions and to transform them to products

QualificationsMaster degree w/ 3 years working experience or PhD degree in discipline of mechanical engineering or related majors.Expert knowledge and rich experience on mechanical integration system such as eAxle, corner module, inhub motorExperience on gear design; expert knowledge on gear meshing theory and gear design tools (KISSsoft, Romax or Masta) is a plusProficient in mechanical CAD commercial software (UG, SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD etc.) and mechanical CAE simulation commercial software (ANSYS Mechanical, Abaqus, etc.) are necessaryGood at programming (Python, C++, etc.), knowledge on AI algorithm is a plusExcellent communication skills, fluent in English (oral and written)Efficient, goal-oriented, structured working style, experienced in project workStrong documentation and writing skillsPassionate for innovationStrong team player, open to work in an international environment
