Drive the mechanical engineering side of ink manufacturing with a strong emphasis on mechanical design expertise: leading critical equipment and mechanical design decisions, strengthening the robustness of production processes, and enabling seamless introduction of new inks and technologies.
This position is ideal for a proactive, hands-on problem solver with a high level of proficiency in mechanical design, capable of independently managing focused engineering tasks and making significant contributions to strategic engineering initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
Provide mechanical and equipment engineering support for NPI and process initiatives, including design inputs, feasibility checks, and implementation guidance.
Lead engineering projects—mechanical improvements, new technologies implementation, equipment adaptations and integration of new process requirements.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues on the production floor, drive structured RCAs, and recommend practical, stable engineering solutions.
Define mechanical requirements and specifications for new or modified equipment, support vendors and internal teams during design, build, and integration.
Contribute to maintenance‑related decisions and projects
Ensure engineering solutions align with safety, ergonomics, and regulatory expectations.
Write clear engineering documentation and communicate constraints, risks, and recommendations.
Requirements
B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
~3 years relevant experience in mechanical or equipment engineering in a multidisciplinary production environment.
Advantage: background involving process‑equipment interactions (materials, fluids, systems behavior).
Strong hands‑on approach, creative thinking, and practical problem‑solving.
Ability to work both independently and within cross‑functional teams.
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
