Summary: Seeking a Mechanical Engineer with expertise in mechanical and structural design for wind tunnel and hypersonic ground test projects.

BS or MS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering

Over 7 years of experience in Design Engineering or Systems Engineering

Proficiency in design and analysis of welded steel structures

Experience with fluid packages or process equipment (pneumatic, hydraulic, fuel, cooling systems)

Preferred proficiency in CAD - Solidworks and FEA - Ansys

General knowledge of fabrication techniques including forming, welding, machining, additive manufacturing

Ability to travel up to 20%, including internationally

Responsibilities:

Conduct mechanical and structural design and analysis for wind tunnel facilities

Design and validate equipment and components for wind tunnel facilities



Pay Details: $51.00 to $69.00 per hour
