Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, this Summer, we’re looking to add a Mechanical Engineering Co-Op located in our Libertyville, IL site.

Reporting to the Senior Process Engineering Manager, the student will assist with daily engineering tasks while learning, collaborating and working alongside Engineers and cross-functional teams.

What a typical day looks like:

Assist Engineering Team with time studies, reviewing documentation, drawings and CAD Assist in writing working instructions, check list and other documents related to manufacturing equipmentHelp research and recommend support equipment required for continuous productionHelp design and monitor Engineering DOE (Design Of Experiment) projectsCollaborate with Engineering Team with writing reports and reporting findings to teamAttend team meetings and support project work as needed

Student qualities we’re seeking for this internship assignment:

Junior/Senior undergrad student pursuing Mechanical Engineering major2D and 3D CAD tools (AutoCAD, Inventor or Solidworks) experienceLean/Six Sigma helpfulEnthusiastic about working in a manufacturing environmentHighly collaborative, creative and excellent communication skillsPrevious internship experience a plus!

Co-Op Program Requirements:

Available to work 40 hours/week (in-person) for the assignment termCurrently enrolled in 4-year accredited university3.0 minimum GPAPay Range (Applicable to Illinois)$16.74 USD - $23.02 USD Hourly
