Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Mechanical Engineer to support the front-end engineering design of offshore pipeline projects with tie-ins to Onshore Receiving Facilities (ORF). The role focuses on static mechanical systems, including design development, drawing review, technical evaluations, and contractual input during the FEED phase of ORF infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities: Lead mechanical engineering activities during the FEED phase for ORF facilities and offshore pipeline interfaces. Develop and review mechanical designs and specifications for static equipment such as pressure vessels, tanks, heat exchangers, and piping systems. Prepare and validate PFDs, P&IDs, layout drawings, and mechanical datasheets. Ensure mechanical integration between offshore pipelines and onshore facilities is technically sound and constructible. Conduct design reviews, HAZOP/HAZID sessions, and interface coordination with other disciplines. Provide technical input for procurement strategies, contract scopes, and tender documentation. Evaluate vendor and contractor proposals from a technical perspective. Ensure compliance with project requirements, industry codes (e.g., ASME, API, ISO, DNV), and HSE standards. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field. Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with strong exposure to static equipment and offshore pipeline projects. Proficient in engineering software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, PV Elite, Caesar II, or equivalent. Experience in contract management and technical coordination with contractors and vendors. Familiarity with international standards (e.g., ASME, API, ISO, DNV). Strong communication, coordination, and documentation skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EPC contractors or oil & gas operators. Knowledge of mechanical systems in coastal and marine environments. Professional Engineering License or equivalent certification is a plus.
