**_Mechanical Engineer_**
_Remote - Salary is $80,000-$95,000 depending on experience Primary Accountability:_
_As a Mechanical Engineer at Ultimate LLC, you’ll apply your expertise in engineering principles and materials to design and detail material handling systems. You’ll create 3D layouts and installation drawing sets that clearly communicate designs to all stakeholders during firm engineering. Your methodical approach, technical expertise, and attention to detail will be invaluable to our team. You’ll collaborate with Project, Mechanical, and Manufacturing Engineers to execute all engineering tasks from contract receipt through project commissioning and close-out. We value your creativity, problem-solving skills, and commitment to delivering high-quality work. In this role, you will:_
+ Utilize 3D CAD systems to design material handling systems that meet customer specifications.
+ Review and produce as-built drawings.
+ Participate in and potentially lead technical discussions during firm engineering meetings with customers and suppliers.
+ Create detailed mechanical installation drawings and Bills of Material for equipment purchasing.
+ Generate point load drawings when required.
+ Verify calculations, including horsepower and throughput.
+ Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to ensure custom equipment aligns with design specifications.
+ Work with vendors to review equipment drawings and specifications for compliance with customer requirements.
+ Compile installation details, including supplier drawings and manuals, for field use.
+ Travel to job sites to verify field conditions.
+ Report project status to the Project Engineer to maintain project schedules.
+ Design parts or platforms for material handling systems.
+ Perform additional engineering tasks as needed.
We’re Excited About You Because:
+ You hold a BS in a technical discipline (Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering/CAD field).
+ You bring 4-6 years of experience working on parcel projects.
+ You’re proficient in 3D CAD systems (Inventor, SolidWorks, PTC CREO), AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
+ You have advanced knowledge of 3D CAD system functionality.
+ You’re adaptable and can manage multiple projects simultaneously.
+ You excel in written and verbal communication.
+ You’re detail-oriented and thrive in ensuring the big picture comes together through precision.
+ You prioritize team success over individual achievements.
+ You’re passionate about continuous improvement and contributing to the development of our Engineering Process.
Physical Demands:

Work Environment:

+ Occasional in- and out-of-state travel with some overnight stays as needed.
