Job Description

The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for supporting process/product improvement and new product development to ensure they meet performance, quality, manufacturing, and cost requirements.  S/He must be able to work well in a team environment and possess effective communication skills and technical expertise.

QualificationsEducation: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field.Experience: 1+ years of industry experience in a product development and manufacturing environment.

Knowledge

Intermediate proficiency in NX requiredIntermediate knowledge of materials and processesIntermediate to advanced knowledge of sheet metalBasic knowledge of product development best practices such as DFM, DOE, DFMEA, and Lean PD.Basic knowledge of drafting, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing preferred.Experience working in a highly regulated environment such as medical equipment a plus.
