About the team
The development of modern Naval/Radar systems requires a multi-disciplinary approach in which the functional concept, the mechanical, the electronics, the electrical and cooling infrastructure are addressed simultaneously. In this multi-disciplinary team, the working area consists of the development of new mechanical concepts for Naval Radar and Combat systems but also the maintenance of the existing products and their Technical Product Documentation.

About the job
Your work will cover the coordination and processing of CR’s (Change Requests). Changes on our designs have several different origins: design errors, obsolete materials, manufacturing/production, quality, safety, etc. Though our internal Change Procedure CR’s are initiated and assigned. As a coordinator, you keep track of the open changes, prioritise and plan them, and delegate them within the changes-team. You scan the CR’s and make sure that everything is clear and help change-engineers with solving issues. You assure that the Change Procedure is followed and that the quality of the changes is sound. You will work closely with the mechanical and electrical engineers on the department, with work-package-managers, with production, procurement and quality. In the end accurate and complete 3D models, drawings and BOM’s will be delivered, to have the TPD actual again. You will be the point of contact; within the team, and from outside the team.
About you
• You have a Vocational Education or Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering (MBO - HBO)
• You have experience with CAD tools (preferable CREO Parametric) and PDM/PLM tools (preferable Windchill)
• You are open minded, creative and able to think across boundaries;
• You are enthusiastic, persistent and flexible;
• You have good communication skills;
• You are proactive and don’t mind approaching colleagues to get issues solved.
• You have sensitivity for and awareness of several and different interests within the company
• You are able to set priorities and schedule work packages accordingly
• You can structure work and are able to organize what is needed.
• You are able to delegate work to colleague-engineers and follow-up on that
