Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
Assist in the design and development of injection molded and machined mechanical components and assemblies for pipettes and other precision liquid handling instrumentsSupport prototype development, testing, and validation activities.Collaborate with electrical and firmware engineers to develop electromechanical systems.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, and quality to ensure product designs meet functional and quality standards.Participate in design reviews and contribute to problem-solving efforts.Help maintain documentation including CAD models, drawings, and specifications.Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product performance and manufacturability.Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to mechanical engineering and laboratory instruments.

Please note that we do not provide relocation at this time. What You Need to Succeed
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.1-5 years of experience in mechanical design or product development (internships and co-ops may be considered).Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, etc.). Autodesk Inventor preferredBasic knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)Working knowledge of motors and/or electronic actuatorsUnderstanding of manufacturing processes and materials.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Effective communication and teamwork abilities.Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality.
Preferred Experience:
