Job Description

We are seeking a talented and innovative Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Singapore, Singapore. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing mechanical systems for a variety of projects in commercial, institutional, and industrial settings.

Design and develop mechanical systems, including ACMV, plumbing, and other related systems for diverse projectsPerform complex calculations and analysis to ensure optimal system performance and efficiencyCreate detailed technical drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and REVITCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical systems with other engineering disciplinesConduct site visits to assess existing conditions and oversee installation of mechanical systemsEnsure compliance with local building codes, industry standards, and safety regulationsParticipate in project planning, budgeting, and scheduling activitiesProvide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and draftersStay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices in mechanical engineeringContribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and methodologies

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institutionProfessional Engineer (P.E.) license or ability to obtain within a specified timeframeMinimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in building systems designProficiency in AutoCAD, REVIT, and Microsoft Office suiteStrong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical systems design principlesFamiliarity with relevant codes and standards, including ASHRAE and SMACNAExperience with building energy modeling software is preferredKnowledge of sustainability standards such as LEED and Net Zero is a plusExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong written and verbal communication abilitiesProven ability to work collaboratively in a team environmentSolid project management skills and experienceFamiliarity with industry regulations and safety standardsWillingness to travel occasionally for site visits and client meetingsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlinesCommitment to continuous learning and professional development
