Mechanical Engineer

Summary: Seeking a Mechanical Engineer with expertise in hydraulic and pneumatic machine design, proficient in AutoCAD/Inventor, for custom test machine development in the automotive and industrial sectors.

Requirements:

Proficient in AutoCAD/Inventor Debugging/troubleshooting skills BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Preferred Skills:

5 years experience in hydraulic/pneumatic systems design Experience with fluid components, valves, pumps, flow control, pressure control, heaters, heat exchangers General mechanical design experience; PLC and PC controls knowledge a plus Electrical design experience is a plus

Responsibilities:

Design hydraulic and pneumatic circuits for tooling and fixturing Calculate fluid flow, temperature, and pressure for test systems Collaborate with designers and engineers to ensure machine functionality Conduct analysis using hand calculations Develop Bills of Material; coordinate procurement of materials/equipment Assist machine builders during assembly/startup

Pay Details: $31.00 to $42.00 per hour
