Summary: Seeking a Mechanical Engineer with experience in medical device design and manufacturing for engineering support and product transfer to production environments.

Requirements:

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering Minimum of 3 years experience with a medical device company Familiarization with SolidWorks or other 3D CAD systems Knowledge of PLM and material control systems Strong mechanical aptitude

Preferred Skills:

Experience with class 2 medical devices Co-op experience in the engineering field

Responsibilities:

Support design and development of medical devices, including packaging lasers, scanners, and electronics Design detailing, bills of material for new products and changes to current products Focus on design for manufacturing Solve manufacturing issues, including material flow and product final testing processes Participate in gated medical design process, including risk analysis and design verifications Contribute documentation in line with medical SOPs for submissions and creation of DHFs

Pay Details: $89,000.00 to $105,000.00 per year
