Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering with 0 - 2 years experience. Part design of die castings, injection molded parts, and stamped sheet-metal parts. Experience with Catia or Similar 3D Solid Modeling Software Experience with Team Center Familiarity with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PPT, Word...) Demonstrated team player as well as self-motivated Ability to communicate effectively with peers, internal and external teams High attention to detail Ability to modify/re-work parts with basic prototyping tools (3D printer, end mill, band saw, drill press, etc…)What you’ll receive in return:

What you'll do…
Work with Mechanical Engineering Technical Lead on development of electronic modules for use in Ford Vehicles. Collaborating with Hardware Engineers, PCB Designers and the Mechanical Engineering Lead to identify ensure robust deigns that will pass internal reliability testing. Work with Vehicle Packaging Engineers to ensure Module Thermal Packaging Specifications and RF Specifications are followed in vehicle mounting/placement of the Module Perform Thermal Testing and other Mechanical testing on products under development Create prototypes of designs via 3D-Printing and/or other rapid prototyping options Create 2D prints utilizing GD&T Support part manufacturing suppliers Support final assembly suppliers
