Main responsibilities

 

Maintenance of Plant Equipment and Machineries

Coordinate preventive / breakdown maintenance which is related to mechanical trouble. Improve maintenance planning to ensure the function of machinery meets production requirements. Maintain, inspect, test, and adjust all physical plant systems, machinery and equipment (including pressure container, crane equipment, fire pump and generator) on a regular basis to detect any potential problem. Provide machine analysis in case of breakdown.

Project Engineering

Support the project to ensure all projects related mechanical works to meet construction safety, quality, budget, and time frame.

Management of Change

According to Management of Change issuing. Arrange installation work and instruction, install, relocate, remove/replace, relevant machinery/equipment. Supervise maintenance employees and contractors for the installation of new or for the modification of existing equipment.

Engineering Documentations

Update mechanical / technical drawing and equipment information as Equipment Manual, General Arrangement, Engineering documents, Plant and Building Layout. It also includes preparing various work manuals for the E&I team to use as standards for such work and to keep it up to date.

Work Order Arrangement & Repair services

Carry out machinery repair service for machines, including drawing for mechanical parts if needed, Monitor the status of important machinery and ensure that it is managed with the lowest risk, such as planning maintenance, simple repairs in a timely manner. or the availability of spare parts, etc. Report to supervisor usual or unsolvable problems to ensure the smooth operation of the machinery/equipment. Organize & Prioritization of work order and feedback to originator on regular basis.

Planning & Forecast of Maintenance

According to supervisor’s instruction and production plans, develop maintenance plan and participate in drafting technical improvement plan to ensure the function of machinery/equipment meets production / RC requirements and legal requirements e.g. generator maintenance, fire pump system, mechanical safety equipment, etc.

Responsible Care & License to operate

According to the company’s safety & Environmental policy and procedures. Adhere to safety and housekeeping practices and report any unsafe work or equipment conditions to the supervisor to ensure the plant safety. Lead annual inspection according to relevant license to operate e.g. electrical inspection, boiler certification. Responsible for joining the emergency response team of Rayong plant

 

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical field.A minimum of 5 years of direct maintenance and engineering experience in manufacturing or chemical industries is required.Technical and Professional Expertise: Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), Preventive Maintenance Management, Mechanical Drawing, SAP PM, Microsoft Office applications, AutoCAD, and Risk-Based Maintenance Methodology.Proficient in spoken and written English.
