Summary: Seeking a Mechanical Engineer with expertise in spacecraft propulsion systems to support design, development, and testing of space vehicles and subsystems.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in STEM with 8+ years experience or Master's degree in STEM with 6+ years experience.
Experience in multi-disciplinary spacecraft development teams.
Knowledge of mechanical design tools and production methods.
Working knowledge of spacecraft propulsion subsystems.
Ability to obtain DoD security clearance.
Preferred Skills:
Active DoD TS clearance.
Leadership skills for Technical or Integrated Product Teams.
Ability to perform propulsion subsystem architectural trades.
Proficiency in industry modeling and simulation tools for propulsion performance analysis.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical expertise for propulsion subsystems across multiple programs.
Lead technical baseline development for mechanical subsystems including propulsion.
Mentor junior engineers and assist program management with task scope development.
Perform technical risk assessment for space-based mechanical systems.
Pay:52-65

Pay Details: $52.00 to $65.00 per hour
