Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Job DescriptionResponsibilitiesDevelop and design advanced mechanical systems for high-capacity optical transceivers.Work on photonic packaging and integration of compact devices into larger modules.Collaborate on the development of high-density designs with multiple stacked layers.Ensure precision engineering in optical fiber integration and connectivity.Focus on delivering 1.6T optical transceiver capabilities at scale.Manage projects with a focus on design for manufacturability and engineering principles.Lead cross-functional design reviews and mentor less experienced engineers.Essential SkillsProficiency in CREO/Solidworks with 5+ years of experience.Ability to manage high-density PCB enclosures with a preference for optical/photonic systemsExperience in thermal management and design for manufacturability.Strong understanding of mechanical design, GD&T, and new product development.Work Environment

5 days on site in Ottawa

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
