Mechanical Engineer

Lead mechanical engineering design teams and develop facility systems for semiconductor manufacturing, including HVAC, hydronics, process piping, and plumbing.

Job Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university Twelve (12) or more years of experience in mechanical facilities engineering, including HVAC, hydronics, process piping, exhaust, plumbing, and related systems Four (4) or more years of experience leading engineering design teams and personnel development Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Idaho or ability to obtain within 3 months (active NCEES record) Ability to pass background check and drug screening Authorized to work in the United States Preferred Skills: Five (5) or more years of experience working with complex semiconductor manufacturing tools in manufacturing, installation, or cleanroom environments Proficiency in AutoCAD and Navisworks software Two (2) years of field experience in construction or facility engineering Job Responsibilities: Lead engineering design teams for mechanical facilities systems, including HVAC, hydronics, process piping, exhaust, and plumbing Oversee the design, development, and installation of mechanical systems for semiconductor manufacturing facilities Collaborate with multi-discipline design teams on complex projects Conduct site visits to active client facilities and construction sites Analyze and troubleshoot mechanical system performance issues Prepare technical documentation and engineering reports Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and best practices Other Requirements: Position is onsite with work performed both from home and at the client site in Boise, ID Must be within commuting distance and able to travel to the site and/or office as necessary (no travel reimbursement) Position requires physical activity, including walking long distances, bending, stooping, climbing ladders, working on catwalks, working in confined spaces, and lifting up to 25 lbs.

Pay Details: $38.00 to $51.00 per hour
