Job Title: Mechanical Systems Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a versatile and hands-on Mechanical Systems Engineer to support the design and integration of aerospace based equipment. This role requires a strong mechanical engineering foundation with working knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and hydraulics. Ideal candidates will have experience with system integration, a passion for building robust, lightweight components, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

ResponsibilitiesDesign and integrate the equipment.Collaborate with teams to develop components from scratch using SolidWorks.Validate designs and troubleshoot systems onsite with approximately 20% travel.Apply understanding of electromechanical systems including basic programming, hydraulics, and mechanical attachments.Support FAA STC certification efforts for aircraft modifications to ensure regulatory and operational compliance.Essential Skills NeededMechanical engineering expertise.Proficiency in SolidWorks for designing and drafting components.Experience with electromechanical systems and system integration.Familiarity with electrical circuits and control systems.At least 5 years of mid to high-level experience, preferably in aerospace.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with programming (Arduino - PLC). (Nice to have)Experience in aerospace.Basic understanding of hydraulic systems for integration, testing, and field troubleshooting in electromechanical assemblies.Work Environment

The role is primarily onsite, with 80% of the work conducted in the office and 20% involving travel. You will be part of a fast-growing industry leader, working in a dynamic environment that fosters collaboration and innovation.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $44.00 - $58.00/hr.
