Enhancing existing designs and developing new onesPreparing 3D models for mechanical parts, and providing technical support to clientsCreate 3D models, engineering drawings for manufacturing, with complete BOM’s, proposal drawings for customer approvalDeveloping prototypes and testing new designsOccasional travel to customer manufacturing plants to gather information and liaise with manufacturing/design teamsDesign of cutting tools used in the pipe industry, this includes special inserts, chip breakers, cartridges, tool holders and boring barsDesign of tools used in the bending industry, this includes bending dies, clamp dies, pressure dies, wiper dies and mandrelsIdentify issues with tooling and piping

Must Have

Bachelor’s degree in engineering3+ years of experience using AutoCAD 3D (preferably Inventor)3+ years of experience Machine tooling/design experience

Nice to Have

Metal cutting, metal holding, fixturing or piping experience

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $41.00/hr.
