We are currently seeking a **Mechanical & Electrical Tech** for our **Beasley, TX Facility** to join our dynamic and fast-paced environment in the E&CFF business. Chart’s **Mechanical & Electrical Tech** position plays a key role in the manufacturing process of Chart’s products. This position will be responsible for helping to produce high quality manufactured Turblex products used all over the world. **_What Will You Do?_** + Run electrical wiring and jobs + Perform mechanical work on units + Assist in the assembly and production of Turblex products + Observe and practice safety procedures and policies + Maintain required production and inspection records + Operating cranes and forklifts + Install mechanical systems including pumps, piping, and instrumentation. + Perform electrical installations, wiring, and troubleshooting of control panels, motors, and circuits. + Execute welding and fabrication tasks using MIG, TIG, or stick welding techniques. + Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. + Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections on equipment and systems. + Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to ensure project specifications are met. + Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. + Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards at all times **_Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…_** + Lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs. + Frequent sitting, standing, stooping, bending, twisting, walking and occasional crawling + Frequent pushing, pulling and handling of material + Occasional climbing and working at elevated positions + Repetitive hand movements during the assembly process + Proper PPE + Working outdoors, indoors, and in the elements **_Your Experience Should Be..._** + 3+ years manufacturing experience in a fast paced environment + Strong electrical background - knowledge of low voltage electrical systems a plus + Strong mechanical background + Familiarity with use of hand tools + Read and interpret technical documents and blueprints + Ability to use and understand various measuring devices + excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail + **Preferred Skills:** + Certification in welding (e.g., AWS) or electrical (e.g., journeyman license). + Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments. + Knowledge of PLCs and automation systems is a plus. + Industrial painting **_Our Benefits Package..._** Chart Industries is an equal employment opportunity (EEO) employer and will not discriminate against any employee or applicants because of his or her race, color, religion, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, pregnancy, age, national origin, disability, veteran status, military status, marital status, genetic information or any other reason prohibited by law.
