Wood has a potential opening for graduate Mechanical Engineers in Training (EITs) to join its Projects Canada business in Calgary, Alberta. Reporting to the Manager, Mechanical Engineering, this role will support Wood’s future and ongoing projects across a diverse portfolio.

EITs will work within multidisciplinary engineering teams, gaining hands-on experience while applying mechanical engineering fundamentals across multiple project phases. This role provides an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to develop their technical skills and progress toward professional registration.

The Role

The Mechanical Engineer in Training will support mechanical engineering activities across a range of projects within Projects Canada. Working under the guidance of experienced engineers, the role involves applying engineering principles, relevant codes and standards, and contributing to engineering deliverables while developing professional and technical capabilities.
