The Supplier Transfer Mechanical Designer – STET is responsible for executing targeted development tasks, ensuring alignment with supplier transfer excellence standards, optimising processes for efficient and high-quality product transfers, and maintaining stringent engineering and compliance standards. The role involves design finalisation, verification planning, testing, and quality assurance, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance, cost-effectiveness, and product integrity throughout the lifecycle **.**
**Your role:**
+ Execute development tasks under general supervision within the Supplier Transfer Excellence framework.
+ Develop complex components of new products according to technical specifications and supplier transfer standards.
+ Lead responsibilities within the Philips Excellence System, ensuring purchased materials meet specifications and managing quality planning.
+ Collaborate with R&D, Operations, and Procurement to engineer quality and compliance for raw materials, components, and finished products.
+ Establish and refine methods for efficient and high-quality supplier transfers.
+ Gather insights to assess current technologies and propose innovative solutions.
+ Complete design finalisation, draft verification plans, and conduct testing and quality checks.
+ Integrate existing or purchased parts into products while maintaining supplier transfer excellence standards.
+ Ensure compliance, quality, and cost-effectiveness throughout the product lifecycle.
+ Design, verify, and optimise product elements and manage their lifecycle.
**You're the right fit if you have :**
+ Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
+ 8+ years of relevant work experience in Product Development ,Supplier Engineering , LCM Projects
+ Hands-on experience working in a regulated Industry (Medical Devices , Consumer Electronics , Automotive , Aerospace etc.)

**How we work together**
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
This is an office based role.
