Job Title: Mechanical Designer
Job Description

We are seeking a talented Mechanical Product Design CAD Drafter/Designer to join our Product Design Engineering group. This role involves designing new material handling and process equipment, focusing on piece part and assembly design. You will play a key role in the layout of capital equipment and mechanical weldments, utilizing 3D modeling to bring designs to life.

ResponsibilitiesDesign and draft mechanical components and assemblies for new material handling and process equipment.Develop layouts for capital equipment and mechanical weldments.Utilize 3D modeling tools, particularly Inventor and Solidworks, to create detailed designs.Essential SkillsProficiency in mechanical design and drafting.Experience with large assemblies, capital equipment, or mechanical weldments.Strong skills in Inventor and Solidworks for 3D modeling.Ability to work with sheet metal and mechanical components.Additional Skills & QualificationsA 2-year degree in mechanical design or a related field.At least 2 years of experience in designing large assemblies, capital equipment, or mechanical weldments.Work Environment

This is an onsite position located in Vadnais Heights. The company is a leader in pneumatic handling systems and process equipment for bulk solids, offering a dynamic and innovative work environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $38.00/hr.
