Key Responsibilities
Design work in Catia (both 3D and 2D), including checking interference of components, tolerance stack-up, and GPS (Geometrical Product Specifications).

Create and check the Bill of Materials (BOM) for drivetrain components.Design and develop gear drive components, such as Shaft, housing, and cover.Manage the Engineering Change Notes (ECNs) workflow.Perform FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) and Risk Assessments.Ensure the design meets safety standards and mechanical design requirements.Interact with suppliers and internal stakeholders.Create installation storyboards for DT components to support installation.Develop component replacement specifications for service and maintenance, especially for parts that need to be replaced up-tower.A good understanding of analytical structural calculations will be an advantage.

Work Experience

Education and Experience:

The ideal candidate holds an academic degree in mechanical engineering in combination with:

Minimum 8 years of experience with CAD softwareExperience in the design of casting and forging components.Preferably, an understanding of onshore-related standards.Understanding of engineering calculations.Ability to act as a specialized knowledge owner for technical inquiries over time.A self-starter with an outgoing personality who proactively takes initiative.Able to work well both independently and in team settings.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a collaborative approach to identifying, defining, and resolving issues while determining the best course of action.A result-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
