Mechanical Design Engineer

Summary: Seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with expertise in SolidWorks and custom automated equipment design for machinery development projects.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in engineering 5+ years experience in creating custom automated equipment or 4 years with co-op program participation Expertise in SolidWorks Experience designing from 2D blueprints Understanding of production methods, technical prints, metal forming, sheet metal work, and machine structure

Preferred Skills:

Prior experience in machinery design Knowledge of pneumatic systems Experience in fabrication Familiarity with integrating servo-motion control systems using RS Logix 5000 for pneumatic applications

Responsibilities:

Collaborate directly with the hiring manager to meet project deadlines through effective machinery design and development

Pay Details: $29.00 to $39.00 per hour
