You will be responsible for the design and implementation of mechanical parts, subassemblies, and product improvements, combining product development with sustaining engineering. This role offers the opportunity to apply your mechanical engineering skills across a variety of markets while driving continuous improvement in quality, performance, and cost.
JOB DUTIES:
Lead and execute Value Engineering (VE), Cost Engineering (CE), and Sustaining Engineering mechanical projects. Define, design, and validate mechanical parts and subassemblies to meet product and customer requirements. Create and maintain 3D models, 2D drawings, and technical documentation in CAD and PDM systems. Develop and implement verification and validation plans for mechanical projects. Manage engineering change requests (ECR/ECOs) and ensure accurate configuration control. Support production teams by troubleshooting and resolving mechanical-related issues. Perform cost estimation and drive cost-reduction initiatives for mechanical components Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust, manufacturable, and compliant designs.
YOU MUST HAVE:
3+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or product design Strong proficiency in CAD tools such as SolidWorks or Creo (3D modeling and design). Hands-on experience with 2D drawing creation and GD&T principles. Confident level of English verbal & written. Willingness to travel occasionally.
WE VALUE:
Experience in new product development and product lifecycle management. Background in Value Engineering or Sustaining Engineering. Familiarity with water-related products or fluid systems (a plus).
