Mechanical Design Engineer

Summary: Seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with expertise in designing stainless steel powder handling equipment for the pharmaceutical industry.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field Proficiency in 3D CAD software (Autodesk Inventor preferred) Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs 5+ years of product design experience 5+ years of experience with 3D CAD

Preferred Skills:

Design experience within a GMP environment (pharmaceuticals, food)

Responsibilities:

Develop and test new products with design team Research new technologies and compliance regulations Conduct design feasibility reviews Spec components and build bill of materials for machine assemblies Assemble design drawings and perform FEA analysis on structural assemblies Determine static and dynamic force requirements using theoretical calculation tools Conduct design review meetings and assemble detailed assembly drawings Draft project documentation packages (operator's manual, etc.) Support product-specific initiatives for improved functionality and cost reduction

Pay Details: $36.00 to $48.00 per hour
