Job Description
We are seeking a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic product development group. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating innovative designs for medical and industrial ultrasound products, using SolidWorks 3D CAD tools. This role is crucial for research and development as well as product development projects.
ResponsibilitiesDesign transducer assemblies and components using SolidWorks 3D CAD tools for R&D and Product Development projects.Design fabrication tooling and interface with all levels of the design team.Coordinate the build of early-stage prototype assemblies with engineering technicians and machine shop personnel.Support tooling and fixture needs in the manufacturing areas.Assist in resolving technical production issues as needed.Essential SkillsBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.Minimum of 1 year of experience in mechanical engineering.Proficiency in SolidWorks.Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering practices.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with transducer design.Experience with tooling design.Sound grasp of dimensioning and tolerance methods.Experience with cabling, interconnects, and flex circuit design.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
