 What You will Do:

Successfully execute design and development tasks to provide engineering solutionsCreate 3D models based off of existing drawings in NXPresent work to customers at product reviewsGenerate design documentation such as product review material, tolerance stacks, and design layoutWork as part of a cohesive design engineering teamUnderstand requirements and evaluate new product structural integrity and functionality in support of meeting those requirementsConceptualize and prepare preliminary and final detail design and documentation of systems components and assembliesReview and approve the technical work of other design engineers

What You Will Bring:

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering6-9 years of experience in design/modelingExperience creating models in NX Unigraphics is a mustFamiliarity with aerospace components, preferably fuel controls, pumps, valves, etcGeneral knowledge of engineering principles, manufacturing techniques (castings, metal cutting, turning, coatings, milling, EDM, welding, sheet metal/composite forming and joining, metal tube bending), and industry standardsGeneral knowledge of GD&T and ability to perform tolerance stacksBlueprint reading, understanding and transfer abilityStrong communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment

Pay Range: $85,000 - $95,000

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.

Work Requirements:

We offer flexible work options, including hybrid arrangements, to support the need of the role and align with company policies. This position is located in Windsor, Connecticut and is considered hybrid with 3 days required on-site.

You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.  Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs. 

Travel requirements: Due to the nature of the work, 0% of travel is required.

Citizenship requirement: Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.
