Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, this Summer, we’re looking to add a Mechanical Design/CAD Engineering Co-Op located in our Libertyville, IL site.

Reporting to Process & Automation Engineering Team, the Intern will support mechanical design, equipment layouts, and tooling integration activities while collaborating and working alongside Engineers and cross-functional teams.

What a typical day looks like:

Develop 3D models and drawings (fixtures, brackets, EOAT)Support equipment layout planningAssist with tolerance stack analysisParticipate in DFM reviewsMaintain engineering documentation and revision controlAttend team meetings to support project work as needed

Student qualities we’re seeking for this internship assignment:

Junior/Senior student pursuing Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering majorProficiency in 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks or Autodesk InventorAbility to create 3D models and detailed engineering drawingsBasic knowledge of DFM (Design for Manufacturability) principlesFamiliarity with equipment layout planning and mechanical integrationUnderstanding of revision control and engineering documentationPrevious manufacturing floor internship experience a plus!

Co-Op Program Requirements:

Ability to work 40 hours/week (in person) during the co-op assignmentCurrently enrolled in 4-year accredited university3.0 GPA

Pay Range (Applicable to Illinois)$16.74 USD - $23.02 USD Hourly
